Russian RIA Using English Site's Products
An alternative version of the photo and video gallery layout that was designed by Suleiman has already been incorporated into the current Russian RIA site, http://ria.ru/ , which averages more than 2 million unique visitors per day.

Advertorial Galleries
Strategically placed in the middle of the home page (as well as on the right-rail of article pages), the advertorial ad galleries are designed to attract high-quality and enduring sponsorship. Their featured content (clearly labeled as branded stories) would be allowed to compete with RIA's news pieces, and if the traffic was high enough, they would be featured in the "Popular" stories list.

'Eye on Russia' Feature
"Eye on Russia" consolidates the latest stories about Russia (and the former Soviet republics) that are reported in western media and provides valuable snippets for readers. Links to the full articles are provided.

'Trending Topic' Mock-up
This new product highlights a particular hot "Russian" topic and provides a snippet of news, followed by polls, an interactive photo gallery, and a short webcam debate between two experts that viewers can vote on at the end.

'Russiamerica' Extended Feature (Rough Draft)
Beyond the Russiamerica "Buzzworthy" and "Viral Nonsense" video products that are featured on the new RIA homepage, this is a video and photo comparison (shown here) between American and Russian customs, rituals, historic sites, etc. Suleiman wrote and produced a mock-up page, which was filmed and photographed by Cavus Media, one of his previous employers. The sketch page, with a test video and rough photos can be viewed here: http://cavusmedia.com/ria/

Buzzfeed-like Experimental Gallery
Created new, Buzzfeed-like photo gallery layouts (complete with animated gifs) to be used as a template for selected stories. These layouts were also used for visual storytelling during the Sochi Olympics coverage. Other Experimental Features
The goal of producing these kinds of pieces was to expand our niche audience in the United States who is interested in the Russia-America dynamic. See these stories here: http://en.ria.ru/search/?query=suleiman+wali
